Camden Tigers FC Local Football (MFA Competition)
The 2024 football season is just around the corner and you have come to the right place for all the information that you will need to register to play in the new season for Camden Tigers FC.
With the success of the Women’s FIFA World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023, the Women’s game growing our local Association (MFA) have encouraged all the Clubs to create more ALL girls sides so that new competitions can be introduced. We would love to see more girls join our MiniRoo and youth sides.
Please note: The Club is run by volunteers and each team will be asked to provide a Coach and Manager from a parent/s from the team.

NSW Government Active Kids $50 Rebate Program
Active Kids vouchers are changing for the 2024 season. Vouchers in 2024 will be means tested (eligible for FTB A & B) and valued at $50. You can apply for an active kids voucher now (it’s not means tested) and get $50 voucher with expiry 31st January 2024. When registrations open in January you can use this voucher.

NOTE: You must claim your Active Kids Voucher from the Service NSW website before completing player registration as you will be asked to provide voucher number during registration process. The system will check the validity of the Active Kids Voucher live and apply discount immediately.

Self Registration
Online self registrations will open on 3rd January 2024!
BEFORE commencing the Registration process, please have the following available:
1. For School aged children – Active Kids Voucher (see details above on how to claim)
2. ID Photo
All new registrations will require a ID photo to be uploaded as part of the registration process. Please take photo using guidelines below before commencing online registration.
Photo image guidelines – please ensure:
– Photo is a passport style image
– Head faces camera directly with full face in view
– No hats or sunglasses are to be worn in the photo
– Photo was taken within the last 12 months
– Photo is clear and legible with appropriate lighting
– Under 5 MB in size
– File type of .PNG or .JPG

*U6 – includes shorts and socks for new registrations

Player/Team Grading
Grading is an important process that is required to place Youth players from U12s to U18 (Competitive teams) into the correct competition / Division. The Grading Sub Committee (made up of experienced coaches) will run exercises, small sided games and full sided games to evaluate player’s skills to place them into teams of equal ability. Grading may also be used to select players for our Development Teams.

MiniRoos Muster day
MiniRoos Muster Day is where all our MiniRoo U6 to U11 players are placed into teams for the up coming season. Please make every effort to attend your age groups session as this will give you a better chance in being placed in a team of your choice. The Club will make every effort to try and place players with their family and friends but it is not always possible.

Nominate your 2024 minis (U6 to U11) team by sending email to minis@camdentigers.com.au.
Please note, all players MUST be registered before Mini-Muster. The Club makes every effort to keep players together but reserves the right to make changes where necessary. Teams that are under the maximum size for their age group may have additional players added to them so that as many children as possible are able to play at Tigers.

MiniRoos Football
MiniRoos Football is for boys and girls aged from 5-11 who wish to learn a fun and safe sport. MiniRoos is a nationwide initiative which uses short, game-based sessions to help kids of all abilities learn new skills, become active and make life-long friends.
Players wanting to play MiniRoos Football at Camden Tigers can play with friends if there is a spot in an existing team or can be placed in a new team.
As the Girls game continues to grow we are encouraging girls from U8’s to U11 to play in all girls teams where possible.
Existing Team
- Players that were in a Camden Tigers Team in 2023 – Please contact your 2023 Coach/Manager to secure your spot in the same team
New Team
- Players that are new to Camden Tigers or returning player that wants to play in a different team, please send an email to Terri Mullins (Minis Coordinator) to be allocated to a team.
